Hey Reader, I don't know about you, but I've always had a particular itch. Even before I became a marketer in 2019, I had this itch. I alway wanted to work for myself. Forever. And to be honest...I've never really even wanted a team. I've managed teams before...I've been on teams before. It just gets too complicated and too messy. The 'agency' life ain't for me, folks. I prefer freedom. That's why I'm a solopreneur forever. You literally cannot convince me that I cannot be a solopreneur forever. But solopreneurs often bump into an income ceiling. To run a successful solo business, you literally cannot do everything by yourself. Literally. You can't. So we reach this conundrum: How do I scale my income without scaling my time? Two common ways solo biz owners do it:
But there's a third way, too. And it doesn't get talked about quite as much. Here it is: automate your customer journey. In other words... Leverage automated email sequences to attract, nurture, convert, and KEEP new customers. See, building a product or automating menial tasks will create "time opportunity" for you. But then you're then left with MORE time to fill with MORE work to scale your income. Now...this third way is the actual nuts and bolts of customer acquisition and retention at scale. It's the real needle-moving stuff that helps solopreneurs like me and you fly solo forever. Think about it... Email sequences attract and convert while you sleep — putting your IRL sales process on autopilot. It's not just about getting new customers, although that's huge... it's about keeping them happy, too. Because happy customers gladly sell for you. So DO build your product and DO automate time-consuming tasks. And it'll free up some of your time to do more things. But put your customer journey on autopilot? And you're building an army of people who tell the world about you for free. What's more scalable than that? Rooting for you, Jeff P.S. If you feel a little intimidated by the thought of creating "email sequences"... I made The Creator's Welcome System suuuuper approachable. Hey there, Just dropping in on a Monday with a fine piece of conversion copywriting analysis. (to help you write better sales copy) See, even though I'm primarily an "email guy'... Every now and then, I've gotta write a sales page. I HATE EM. They're long, tedious, and ya gotta be precise. BUT you must know... A sales page can make or break your product sales. A good page makes writing emails easy because it does ALL the heavy lifting. And that's why we're here today. My friend Lessa did a...
Hey Reader, To get conversions in email, you gotta get more clicks. One way to get more clicks: Reduce the amount of options you give. For example... I see nearly everyone saying this in their emails: "When you're ready, here are 3 ways I can help you." I think this was popularized by Justin Welsh. The problem with it? You're not Justin Welsh, and you can't afford to try. Justin Welsh is so popular and has over 1M followers across his social channels. He has firmly established himself as the...
